With all the Dear Tom letters you've written, I'd be surprised if a unique major is the only "something something" you are offering in exchange for an acceptance. Mind sharing your major? I wasn't trying to make fun of your "hippy major"; I'm a business student so you can't anything duller than that.
yea, I don't mind. I'm going to PM you though cause it could totes out me if some Berk person is trolling.

UR since 11/2. Pretty sure that I've logged on to the status checker every day since then. Does Ad Comm give bonus points for desperation?

So maybe just pity admits to the hard-core TLSers, for - at least in my case - unwavering optimism despite the realistic future defeat? (hey, I'll take whatever Dean Tom wants to give me!! A pity admit's still an admit...)

All I want is a decision. I have been in review since mid-October and quite frankly it is time to tell me no. . . if that is all you want Berkeley. I have spent the last month in denial thinking that Duke or Berkeley would come through, however after a waitlist at Duke yesterday, I am ready for another one at Berkeley. I have dealt with my pain.

Is there anything leading you to believe this, or just wishful thinking?

Aren't you from California? They're god damn delicious. And yeah, we get breakfast on Fridays. I work at a video game developer so it's not exactly a rigid corporate environment.

No, fortunately. Game testing is a great way to learn to hate games. Imagine spending eight hours running into every wall in the game to make sure collisions are set up properly. One friend of mine actually spent a week reading End User License Agreements, which are those long contracts you agree to without reading before you play the game. I've mostly been doing research on the market. Nothing that interesting, heh. I'm not involved in the creative side.

I've been UR since early December. This is insanity. I can't get anything done because all I do is check my status all day.

I hope you're joking!
they usually announce on twitter when decisions are coming. So, until then, we can freak out in here and pretend to chillax.
