Sorry I had to. We needed some liveliness for what's sure to be a big day:
The best we had was people saying "me six!"

For real. Got a Darrow at Michigan, hate New York. Would have maybe sucked it up if cost had been equal (my family is in CT, so that's a point in CLS's favor), but since I can go to Michigan for free AND I like it better, that wins.Excellence = a Habit wrote:Awww... so glad you've stuck around the thread, Miss VCE!LinzerTorte wrote:Good luck everybody! *Looks at your avi* I wonder if that has anything with why you hate NY lol. All things being equal I would never stay in Ann Arbor over New York/Chicago, etc. But I guess to each their own. I like having an actual city.Entchen wrote:For real. Got a Darrow at Michigan, hate New York. Haha, actually, it doesn't. I lived in NYC for 10 years and spent the next 10 living an hour outside (with my dad still working in the city, my sister going to college and then living there) so I actually know from experience that I don't like it.Non-Chalant1 wrote:*Looks at your avi* I wonder if that has anything with why you hate NY lol. I dislike big cities in general. Ann Arbor was a major point in Michigan's favor. The money will also give me the option of working in a smaller city or town after I graduate, without having to worry about paying back $200,000.
The fact that Michigan has a hockey team was an extra bonus, though
*uscho ncaa div 1 men's hockey poll. Interestingly enough, Yale is no. 1 in that ranking as well.

No VCE, but something from Michigan postmarked 1/28.
No Georgetown letter or what not either.

Ugh, yuck. However, remember it's NYC mail that sucks (and possibly DC, given the dearth of GULC packages ITT). What did Michigan send?hiddenfist wrote:No VCE, but something from Michigan postmarked 1/28.

Re: Columbia 2011!
I don't have my GULC packet yet either and I was admitted way back in November. And there's no bad weather excuse out in Cali. Sooooo my theory is that my mailman got tired of delivering all these law school packets I've been getting, so he is now condensing them into a large pile and only giving them to me once a month. Anyone interested in organizing a post office break-in with me? I'll bring baked goods!Excellence = a Habit wrote:Ugh, yuck.
