How serious is LinkedIn in law school?

What do you mean by serious? Like as in, do you need to have it or what?

Any differences in usage for law students v. college students other than the usual suspects (e.g. adding your law school)?

It only started picking up now in anticipation of OCI. Prior to that, I don't think anyone was too serious about it.

You'll probably want a more professional picture than your average college student. You suit up for the first day of orientation and they'll take a professional portrait, and you can email admissions and ask for them to email you the pic and use that.

They missed their self imposed deadline last year, and they ended up coming out in early to mid July. I bet they are out next week.

He hasn't taught any of us, so one of the 3Ls will have to elaborate on this one. From what I know, he's a younger dude, specializes in corporate law, has an SJD (basically the highest legal degree you can get). That's about all that I know.

I saw their course grid. At least they've got Hollander-Blumoff to offset Greenfield and Drobak.
