I'm so sorry to hear about the emails.
As I've gotten older, I've realized that what matters most is not where you go or what you're given but that wherever you go and whatever you're given, you kill it and you commit to doing your best. I know we'll all do great wherever we go, as long as we keep at and never give in.
Mort still standing... for now...

It's such a nasty little surprise to see that WL email nestled in between a facebook notification, some spam, a couple work emails, and a bank notification.scoobers wrote:I've been scared to check my email ever since philly got WL from UVA :/drawstring wrote:Ya, so, I think I'm going to be staring at my inbox all day.

That just came for me today, and even though I'm already in at GULC I still get nervous! I keep thinking it's going to say "Oh sorry about that, we sent your letter to the wrong place. Psych!"scoobers wrote:or under another OH PLEASE COME TO OUR ASW message from andy cornblatt.lawschool22 wrote:It's such a nasty little surprise to see that WL email nestled in between a facebook notification, some spam, a couple work emails, and a bank notification.scoobers wrote:I've been scared to check my email ever since philly got WL from UVA :/drawstring wrote:Ya, so, I think I'm going to be staring at my inbox all day.

Aaaand ding.
3.69/3.8/171
My only real chance was to luck into a JS1 and kill the interview.
I suppose the finality of a rejection is better to the drawn out anticipation of a WL. Though I'll believe this more a week or so from now.

Which was nice, because between the time I saw the (1) in my inbox and then had a chance to see it's not a ding/wl from Harvard, I had the opportunity to experience several heart attacksscoobers wrote:or under another OH PLEASE COME TO OUR ASW message from andy cornblatt.lawschool22 wrote:It's such a nasty little surprise to see that WL email nestled in between a facebook notification, some spam, a couple work emails, and a bank notification.scoobers wrote:I've been scared to check my email ever since philly got WL from UVA :/drawstring wrote:Ya, so, I think I'm going to be staring at my inbox all day.

Man, sorry to hear the first rejection wave is coming out.
So far it looks like most of the people reporting didn't have a JS1?

Thanks. I shouldn't be too surprised honestly, but it's the first ding of my cycle. Still have loads of great options though.koalacity wrote:Sorry about the ding, lowdmouseNooblarzlarz wrote:H slowly rolling out the dings. Nope, I haven't had any changes since I went complete 11/4.NoDayButToday wrote:Very sorry about the dings. Guess any of us could be any minute. Good luck to all of you.
Did you all who got the sad news have any recent date changes to indicate today would be the day?

At least Harvard was pretty fast with their rejection. Now I can go back to hating MA. GPA and LSAT both ~25%

I wish they would just decide who was getting dings first, then send out a mass email wave. The slow drip of dings is just salt in the wound.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
