Anyone here with me on the loop? Cheaper and close to campus, that's what I'm about. CWE might be nice, but niceness is overrated, low COL FTW.

If including 1L's, I live on the Loop right behind BB Hill. I like it.
I would not be that broke if I lived there (because BB Hill is so cheap) but I would become an alcoholic who enjoys his cosmos.

I realized why bar review doesn't officially happen every night: because it seems to be happening every night anyway!

I'm so Midwest that BB hill seems expensive. $1 beers at dive bars FTW.

Your perspective might be skewed by the fact that you were already an alcoholic when you got here.

Cool. Would you say that the area is really loud? By that, I don't mean like hearing some drunk kids on a Friday or Saturday night, I mean like hearing them on a Tuesday night.

Naw. They can be loud as fuck on the weekends/holidays but it has never really bothered me. The most you will get otherwise, depending exactly where you are, is some drunk kids walking by your building talking loudly on the way back from a bar. I've never been woken up or anything, and I am on the first floor.
Sweet, ty for the info Sublime. I used to live on the first floor of a loud apartment building and get woken up every night but my UG institution was "louder" than WUSTL I guess. Any apartment complexes you can name off the top of your head that'd be cool to look into?

Been lurking on this thread for a while, but until the recent scholly bumps WUSTL wasn't really an option so I haven't posted. I just booked my hotel for the April admitted students event though! Looking forward to meeting some fellow TLS'ers up there. (AKA the last ASW sounded like a lot of fun and I wanna make sure I'm in the cool kids group all weekend  )

When you reach two months left of undergrad, doing homework turns into drinking wine and watching Girls.
