Still waiting. No JS1, 174 3.95. Ruby at U Chicago. Thoughts on waitlisted opportunity with no JS1?

If you are Target, I have like the Walmart version of these stats so I'll be expecting the same.
Edit: or a ding, of course

Hahaha waitlisted. Was not at all expecting anything more than a ding. No JS1, applied late January.

I guess I'll ride it out and reapply next year.

Is anyone else seriously stoked and surprised at even getting a WL offer? I'm still kind of on cloud nine.

I am genuinely sorry for any JS1ers that didn't get the news they were hoping for, but I would imagine having a JS1 previously puts you higher on the WL than those of us who went straight on the WL without a JS1.

Does this mean that if we don't get waitlisted today without a JS1, we'll get rejected?

I know people near my complete date that were both rejected and waitlisted already. Who knows what the deal is now haha. To me, 6+ months with Harvard purgatory is still an honor at this point hah.

I've been waiting since December with nothing, I don't really know what it means...

Just got WL email 5 minutes ago, complete 2/23, no JS1. After the WL wave this morning and yesterday was nervous I'd get a straight ding. Also, link in WL email still doesn't work.

Still haven't been wait listed, denied, or gotten JS1. This is all very confusing. No idea where I stand. Would assume without interview would have been WL or denied by now.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
