It should be noted that HLS's cat post was in response to what was happening here, which started when some posters with cat avatars got into a few of YHS and someone joked that it must be the avatars, although it might not have been in this thread. People started changing their avatars deliberately around this page http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... start=3125 and it snowballed from there.

i just had my js1 today. feel really bad about it. it lasted only 11 minutes or so... don't expect a miracle. will schedule a retake of LSAT in june.

I texted my friend "more JS2's for my wave today. here's to hoping" and he was like "would you stop texting me with all that weird lingo lol. I have no idea what it means. good luck though haha"

haha...I have had this same problem. The anxiety from this has actually caused me to develop RLS which makes it hard for me to sleep.

Mine was also only about that long, as it started about 7 minutes late. Poor JS seemed really flustered.

I thought you could only see about a week out's worth of slots though?

No, I can see any open slots (including the fun day when they suddenly had 100's of slots open in the year 1099 AD).

On TLS, there were 172 JS1s before the WL last cycle. This year, we have had 174 so far. So it seems consistent that they are close to done their interviews before the WL. Sorry! However WL -> JS1 -> JS2 still happens, so I wouldn't lose hope!

That seems to be the unofficial decision time. I thought I remember reading somewhere that an April 1 response was only guaranteed for applications completed, not necessarily submitted, by February 1 but I can't find it so I might've imagined it. Here's all I can find:

Decisions: We will make every effort to deliver a decision on your application as soon as possible. An applicant who is offered admission will be notified immediately; in other instances, applications receive continued consideration with a decision to be made later in the season. In any case, the Admissions Office will make every effort to notify applicants of decisions by late April. We appreciate your patience with the process of providing individual consideration to each application.

I've been complete for 3 months now with no JS1. Does this indicate a likely WL since it is late in the cycle or is it a non-factor? I've seen others with similar numbers that submitted after me get JS1s or rejected.
