Re: Columbia c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I hope they don't forget about us "unofficial holds" today! I need this last decision to complete my cycle. I'm not optimistic about being admitted, but you never know I guess.
ETA: Yeah, there are formal emails which tell people that they've been held for further review. Others such as myself simply haven't heard anything for a long time (early november in my case). So informally we're aware that our applications have been held because people who applied long after us have received the full variety of decisions.

I'm totally embarrassed to have this be my first post, since I've been lurking on this forum for months... but I thought you guys should know that there is still hope of straight admits. I got an admit email yesterday. Complete 1/27. Never held. Non-URM. GPA>75th, LSAT>50th.
Good luck! And thanks for keeping me sane!

I'm gonna go on a pessimistic limb and say that this is really the final nail in the coffin for me. If people were admitted yesterday, then this week corresponds with last year fairly well.
Reserves for most of us today. Probably no admits.

I may also re-read my essay to see if I mistakenly copied in an F-bomb or something.

I'm probably going to go on a season 2 McNulty-style, 36 hour bender for the ages now. Wanna come Omar? I know you don't drink but you might have fun.OMAR_COMIN_YO wrote:Are these going out piecemeal?corporatebarbarian wrote:Reserved. >75%/>75% and seriously re-evaluating my self-worth.
