I'm really hoping for an admit off the waitlist. If not, I've decided I'm going to reapply in Sept; This is where I want to end up. Looking forward to hearing about ASW from everyone!

ASW has been awesome guys, you're seriously missing out more than you'd probably like to think. Met crumpets and rinkrat tonight, and a ton of 0Ls. Follies was amazing, you wouldn't believe how pro they were if i told you.

Its been a blast. Theyve treated us well. I'm sure people will have pictures next week, but as for now, there is too much going on to waste time uploading pictures here.

The admits seem very chill. Y'all have my permission to matriculate.

That's one thing that's a little tough actually. There are so many great restaurants around, but the school isn't going to take people to them (either $ or too far away from campus) and being so busy with ASW makes it really hard to go out on your own. If anybody is going to be around on Sunday send me a PM and I can give you some recommendations.untar614 wrote:Agreed. This place is awesome. Where have u eaten though? So great meeting all of you, even if some of you did totally try and blow my cover at Timmy's by coming up and going "Scarlett!!"
I felt like a celebrity... Afterparty at Timmy's again today if anyone is at a loose end post-follies!

No need to stop drinking. Pics of bars around campus would be fine with me.Big Dog wrote:And such people have a moral and ethical obligation to stop drinking in ChiTown and get to some serious pic posting.I'm mad envious of the people that were able to go.

Without a doubt, the housing tour was the most beneficial part of the weekend. If you're attending NU and didn't get to go, get in contact with StudentSpace.

Why StudentSpace? I looked at their listings online and wasn't really impressed, so I've been browsing padmapper and craigslist mostly.TripTrip wrote:Without a doubt, the housing tour was the most beneficial part of the weekend. StudentSpace is useful if you want to live right near campus. Some people do, some don't. It's just personal preference.Solistus wrote:Why StudentSpace? Yeah, that's what it looked like. I don't know how anyone can fit a $1400+ rent into that student loan budget, though. $14k is supposed to cover food and rent for the year.rinkrat19 wrote:StudentSpace is useful if you want to live right near campus. I can understand the budgetary constraints. However, I was extremely impressed with what $1400/mo buys right next to campus.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
