just like to throw a little love out there for all of the UR 1/7 people who are still without a DR. here's to another night of tossing and turning while trying to ignore apparent trends in UGLC's admission process...

Is there any consensus on this batch? I'm 171, 3.75.

I went complete 1/5 but have not gone to under review yet. Is that normal? I applied 11/24 but took the December LSAT, which is why it took so long to go complete. But why is it taking so long to switch to under review?

It took me about two weeks to go from complete to under review for the first time. Late November to early December.democrattotheend wrote:I went complete 1/5 but have not gone to under review yet. Good to know. How long did it take you after that to go to "Decision Rendered"? Or are you still waiting?JusticeHarlan wrote:It took me about two weeks to go from complete to under review for the first time. Really? Judging from LSN, it looks like last year, the people who went complete around when I did who got in knew within a month. The other weird thing is, I just noticed on LSN that several people who applied in late November/early December and took the December LSAT got in today with numbers that were similar to mine or even slightly lower, and yet I have not even gone under review yet. I wonder why. It could be because I asked to switch from being considered for both programs to full time only. Maybe that held things up.lawapps0502 wrote:it takes usually 8 to 12 weeks to go from under review to decision rendered

Still waiting. I was UR 12/10, then UR 1/7, which is where I sit as of now.democrattotheend wrote:Good to know. How long did it take you after that to go to "Decision Rendered"? Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
This is strange: I sent my withdrawal email a few days ago, and my status just changed to DR 1/14, where it had been UR 1/09 before. Does anyone who has withdrawn know if that's normal? All the other schools I withdrew from changed to "Application Withdrawn."

Your withdrawal probably crossed paths with their acceptance. Send them another e-mail once you get the acceptance letter making sure they know you withdrew.snickersnicker wrote:This is strange: I sent my withdrawal email a few days ago, and my status just changed to DR 1/14, where it had been UR 1/09 before. Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
Seems like things speed up in January. Many people who applied in early-mid January got accepted in early-mid February (or rejected in early-mid March). Not a surprise, really; they know more of what their class looks like by January, so they're setting aside fewer applications for later consideration.democrattotheend wrote:Really?
