I'm a 3.9ish GPA with a LSAT in the low 160s. You can PM me if you want the exact numbers. I've been complete since September and have been considering signing up for the June LSAT because of this HLS hold. Just can't decide if I have it in me to make one final push.scubasteve12 wrote:gobears!! wrote:Any other super reverse splitters managing to stay afloat?
Major reverse splitter here, still afloat. What are your stats?

Big regular splitter here, no JS1, still part of the walking dead. (I'm also an LSAT tutor these days, so if any reverse splitters are taking the June test, PM me if you want to give me your money in exchange for my secrets
)

Is the consensus that everyone will hear something this week? Not sure if I can take it any longer.

I think so. I never thought I would be so upset that there are 31 days in March.theconsigliere wrote:Is the consensus that everyone will hear something this week? Not sure if I can take it any longer.

I was waitlisted as well today. Is there an appropriate amount of time to wait before sending an LOCI?

Longtime lurker mom who has enjoyed following this thread as my child has gone through this process. I felt obligated to post during this week as my child probably heads toward the WL, since there has been no JS1. Good news is that my child is in other top schools with $$$. Although it is hard to see while going through the process, things really do have a way of working out for the best. In the words of the Rolling Stones,
"You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes
You just might find
You get what you need"
I wish you all the best and am confident you will kill it wherever you attend. You are all very bright and motivated and the cream always rises to the top, HLS diploma or not! Hang in there.

At this point, we should all expect a waitlist or a rejection, right? Probably too late for a JS1?

This may have just replaced Schocolate's pastry parties post as my favorite in this thread. Seriously, lurkermom you are awesome and your kid is lucky to have a parent so involved in their life. I wish your kid the best of luck, and given that they have generous schollys to top schools I'm sure that whatever happens they will have great options.lurkermom wrote:Longtime lurker mom who has enjoyed following this thread as my child has gone through this process. Also would like to echo the message to everyone receiving news this week. Whether JS2, JSW, or JSDing this doesn't define who you are or what your potential is. Most of you have a lot of other great options, irrespective of anything Harvard gives, and if your options aren't as great as you had hoped, the good news is that law school will be around next year and the year after that and so you can craft a better application and get in next cycle if you desire.
Anyway, I wish you all the best of luck in all future endeavors; keep being yourself because no one else could do it better.

Anyone else what borderline-ish stats (think at/just below both medians) that applied in 2015 still waiting on any news? Should we just expect a multi-day WL wave with more to come tomorrow?

Waitlist email yesterday...honestly I am happy I made it this far given my numbers! (164 LSAT, 3.8 GPA, non-URM). I had my JS1 mid-Jan.
Now just writing a LOCI, although I have a feeling I may end up withdrawing. Good luck to everyone else still waiting!

Is the consensus that all we await now are rejections or wait lists? Or is there any hope for JS2?

Just got WL via email a few minutes ago. I am actually ecstatic as I figured this was my best-case scenario. Huge reverse splitter.

Just got my waitlist email. So I guess the speculation about multi-day waitlist waves is proving pretty accurate.

just got that unsurprising waitlist email. JS1 mid Jan (which I think did not go well). Good luck everyone!
