Every class needs that gunner who loves cold calls/always talks in class but ends up below median come finals. That can be you! You're filling a valuable role in your classmates' law school experience at least!

i bet the rising 2L class submitted altered outlines to PAD and billed them as CALIs

so definitely, definitely PM birdnals for the quality outlines! he's been very helpful to class after class of 1Ls, and loves to take on all the TLSers as mentees

Also, my outlines are on the PAD bank. Go on there when you all are 1L's if you want them.

You're comparing me to people who cheat and fuck up outlines? Dude. Seriously?LET'S GET IT wrote:You should have been in our class. Maybe I was a little harsh, but as someone else pointed out, literally every single person that has actually been a 1L is telling you the same thing, and you are telling them all that they don't know what they are talking about.landshoes wrote:You're comparing me to people who cheat and fuck up outlines? It's a certain kind of mentality, really. You haven't really had the opportunity to do the things that those people did, so in that sense, I guess it was somewhat harsh.LET'S GET IT wrote:Maybe I was a little harsh, but as someone else pointed out, literally every single person that has actually been a 1L is telling you the same thing, and you are telling them all that they don't know what they are talking about.landshoes wrote:You're comparing me to people who cheat and fuck up outlines? You haven't the slightest clue how much I would love to avoid that. LOTS.PourMeTea wrote:lighten up, y'all. i'm sure people just don't want to see a repeat of the disaster of a class that is c/o 2017

Yeah, but I think it's more of a nervous 1L thing than a competitive thing. Like every 1L does stupid crap like this, I think. It's a little different from being dishonest or screwing your classmates.LET'S GET IT wrote:Maybe I was a little harsh, but as someone else pointed out, literally every single person that has actually been a 1L is telling you the same thing, and you are telling them all that they don't know what they are talking about.landshoes wrote:You're comparing me to people who cheat and fuck up outlines? Sure, I'll happily come back and eat crow. There's enough luck and variation involved that it might not be a great indicator either way, and frankly, there's a good chance you're starting with a better base of aptitude. I usually need extra time and repetition compared to a lot of people at a similar level of academic achievement, which makes me think I'm not likely to be the brightest in any given set of bright people.scottidsntknow wrote:In December post your grades and let's compare.landshoes wrote:idk that it's actually possible to know whether it would have made a difference based on anecdotal experience. but this is sort of a played out discussion on TLS so I'll move on
Anyway, good luck post-transfer.

On a completely unrelated note - does anyone have experience with the wash u health insurance plan? I'm wondering if I should go with that or purchase private insurance. I'm too old to be on either parent's.

Anyone know how WUSTL typically handles their waiting lists? Do they actively try to add to their class or do they just try to fill the gaps left by their withdraws? Any movement or possibility of movement?

This is just about the end of the line as far as movement is concerned. I got in pretty late myself last year, and it was late June. Can't attest to anything after that.FirmBiz wrote:Anyone know how WUSTL typically handles their waiting lists? Alright thanks, my chances were slim anyway. Surprised I even got on the waiting list after applying in April.Jmart082 wrote:This is just about the end of the line as far as movement is concerned. I met a kid who was let in on like August 13th and moved to campus like 2 days later.

Wow, stories like that are crazy but if you get an opportunity it would be foolish not to take advantage of it.chingwoo wrote:FirmBiz wrote:Alright thanks, my chances were slim anyway. I had it for my last year and didn't have any problems. Co-pay and coverage was the same as the insurance I had under my parents. I know someone who spent some time researching and got cheaper/similar coverage on the obamacare website or w/e but idk much about the details.valen wrote:On a completely unrelated note - does anyone have experience with the wash u health insurance plan?
