I highly doubt HLS is averaging this cycle. Also, I don't know how accurate the Facebook group is, but it seems like they still have a good number of people to admit. They're probably looking for high LSATs more than ever.

Agree. I don't know how much of this has to do with the down cycle vs. schools now only having to report the high score to the ABA and US News (I suspect more the latter), but I'm pretty sure that H does not primarily use the average. I have a 173/164, and if they were primarily using the average, I doubt I would have heard back as quickly as I did. I think that in my cycle, my 164 has made me look slightly worse than another candidate with just a 173, but not like a 168.5er.

But really, just celebrated my 2-month anniversary with sitting at "Complete."

Im in the same spot. Have you considered a LOCI? I know that one now pretty much means not doing one after a hold, but I'm fitting the urge almost every day to send one in.

Anyone got advice on the wisdom of this...?

I've past my 3 month complete anniversary without hearing anything. Any other Novembers still with me?

For the record (and I drink at Starbucks and am not a hater). The notion Starbucks pays fair trade is absurd. I used to run a coffee shop and its roughly 37 cents for us to make a 12 ounces of coffee. For Starbucks it's 7-9 cents. The only real difference in cost is the price of bean.

Starbucks so dominates the market they can basically choose their own price and they do. Many huge corporations do this. I'm not faulting them, but the notion that it is fair trade just because they say so (rather, they found some organization to say so) is laughable.

For those that have heard back, do you remember anything being said at the end of the interview or during the interview itself, like "we look forward to being in touch" or something like that, that you thought was indicative? I know I am just going crazy and over-analyzing here, but what else can I do?

It's easy to go crazy, I'm sure. She did say she looked forward to being in touch, but she also told me about a program she thought would match well with my interests, which felt very positive.

Schools aren't actively trying to tie applicants to TLS accounts. Its more of a someone said something and now I'm curious so I look at their profile/LSN/post history to see if I can match their stats/dates to a applicant.

Right. But I would be stunned if it is a I try to find someone's TLS account before I make a decision situation. I think it's way more of I'm surfing during lunch hop over to TLS someone said something that interests me so I spend 5 minutes trying to make him/her situation.

I would also be pretty easy to make people if they don't take the upmost care.

I've been pretty openly enthusiastic about HLS (and the potential of YLS until my ding comes), to the exclusion of CLS and UChi. My LSN is accurate, and it isn't hard to figure out my UG if you try. I wouldn't be surprised if I screwed myself over there.
It's all speculation, but I would have fudged things more and been less open if I could do it again.

Right. 7000 applicants, and not enough information in the application itself... so they tried to deduce TLS and LSN profiles.

Next year there will be a box on the LSAC universal application for LSN and TLS usernames.
