Named scholarship invites should be coming out pretty soon, I would assume, since interviews are done at ASW.

Does anyone know whether we need to have Need Access completed before we'll be considered for scholarships (named or Dean's)? I could read through last year's thread again, but figured I'd ask in the interest of saving time. Thx!

Has anyone tried negotiating for scholarship money yet? If not, when should we? After need- and merit-based offers are announced? When would that be?

I had been "processing" since 1/19, but at least it is moving. This is a big reach for me so I'm not holding my breath...well, maybe a little.

Well, I've been UR since early December. 98% given up hope...I'm sitting in the NYU library as I type this, just a few mins away from the law school how ironic. Would you guys recommend sending in a LOCI soon, before I receive my decision, or wait until after (hopefully I'll at least get a WL)?

Don't see how an LOCI would hurt you, hopefully you have something compelling/new to add to your file. I'd say go for it.

this shows pretty much how negative tls is sometimes - people have to apologize to ask questions. yeah it's normal. don't really know what they're doing with all the people without decisions. pretty much im guessing now that all schools have a hold system - it's just NYU doesn't inform their applicants about it.

Thanks, I don't think i could put into words how much I want to got to NYU. And in terms of the negativity of TLS, I have received two personal messages-one encouraging me to not give up hope, the other ripping my head off.
