Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
So according to the first page,
Rejection waves for c/o 2019
1st wave: 1/27/16
2nd wave: 3/9/16
3rd wave: 3/10/16
4th wave: 3/11/16 (?)
5th wave: 3/16/16
6th wave: 3/17/16
7th wave: 3/22/16 (?)
8th wave: 3/23/16
9th wave: 3/28/16
Wait list waves for the c/o 2019
1st wave: 3/29/16
2nd wave: 3/30/16
3rd wave: 3/31/16
4th wave: 4/4/16
So for those of us who have heard nothing since our apps went complete, and presumably survived multiple ding waves so far, can we take it to mean we are being considered for last minute JS1s or waitlist? Or is it pretty arbitrary who is rejected in the first 6 waves versus the last few?

That's a bit too hippy for me. Maybe cigars, scotch, mahogany, and leather chairs upon which to discuss the future?KateMcKitten wrote:If this was IRL we would be breaking out guitars and starting a sing-along right now.Smc1994 wrote:Not with that attitude.dyebri wrote: Sorry to break it to you. I prefer to think that we're in Schrodinger's box. That way, I don't mind not hearing back, as there's a far more odious concern. I'm a cat.

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
All this waiting is gonna make it feel so freaking good when we finally get the call
or so freaking bad when we get WL'd/dinged/passed by by the last JS2 wave.
Last night while I was lying awake, super tired, I had a sort of feverish half-dream half-daydream that it was Friday, 3/31, and the last JS2 wave was going out, and I just waited and waited and didn't get the call, and the uncertainty and dread just slowly grew until like five or something, at which point I could no longer doubt my fate.
I think I'd have to retake. God, don't make me go through that again.

And there goes my unsupported speculation.
I would imagine waiting for results of the bar exam and that one dream job interview would be nerve wrecking as well.
