Stay your ass positive. We fucking GOT this. I'm feeling it, guys. There will be another admit wave or two. I just know it.
<3 kisses to my fans and frenemies. let's continue to wait in angst and be merry. it's that, or succumb to our anxiety and lay ourselves broken on the rocks of despair!
I really want you to get in. You're the NYU stan. I've, personally, lost all hope tho. It's weirdly liberating.
Thank you so much! Thanks for putting up with my crazy posts on here. But it is - to borrow your words - weirdly liberating to be a complete and utter psychopath on here. Don't lose hope. You really never know.
And for those of you who love this bitch and want her dream to come true, just throw my name in your withdrawal email.

Hey guys, longtime lurker here.
I have been waiting since the day the application opened, previously with no end in sight. After months of living with a mid-October UR date, I've had UR changed 4/9 and 4/11. As I have lost any hope that NYU will ever love me, I'm thinking the first waitlist wave is coming.
Maybe a waitlist wave before one or two more admit waves??
I don't really know, but my friends are just a little bit sick of hearing me talk about the NYU #struggle, so I figured I'd share my thoughts here.
Best of luck to all of you, regardless of your status with NYU!

You've been lurking so you know multiple date changes have thus far been a good sign. You really have no reason to assume that you'll be in a waitlist wave, so wait till Tuesday and you might find some great news!

Try the ASW trick. Username = LSAC # PWD = DOB to see if you got accepted.

For the life of me I can't find the right page on NYU's site. Any chance you could link me?

Are any of y'all stressed at all about not being able to attend an ASW? I Have found them super helpful with the schools that HAVENT ghosted me.... NYU is my love and I know a number of alum so I am not super stressed but then again I am not those people and would like to make decisions for myself but IDK... I might be coming up with extra reasons to be salty tho

I think this is a legitimate concern. However, if you get in and aren't able to go to an ASW, you should definitely still set up an individual visit with the school! It won't be the same as the ASW, but you can at least meet with some faculty and students. I had to do this at Penn, and I thought it was going to be a waste of my time, but it was actually super nice.

That's a good point, its not far from me so I could definitely swing that. Maybe pop into the admissions office and just cry until they let me in.

ASW trick didn't work for me. Didn't get super hopeful about the date changes (despite positive results for others in the past) since they didn't occur in the normal pre-Tuesday format. But who knows what NYU is doing

I, for one, am alright with this wait. The hope keeps me going while waiting until May to begin hopefully waiting on waitlists. So much waiting.
