God, graduation garb is the worst in general. I ducked out of UG graduation but I think I'm going to have to attend LS graduation for the sake of my poor parents. Not looking forward to those doofy hats

Why are the GULC grads walking out of Georgetown UG building and not the Law Center?

Chicago's are by far the worst robes. Atleast Cornell's is fun. Chicago has a gross color.

They probably have their graduation there because the campus is pretty and their law center is in a depressing part of town.Thelaw23 wrote:Why are the GULC grads walking out of Georgetown UG building and not the Law Center?

The free Cornell undergrad sweatshirt I got went straight to the back of the closet with my Furby. I would donate it but even the homeless would be like UMM NO.

this is TCR. announcing things is a TTT move. i make sure things get leaked through the grapevine to people I want to stunt on/for and then have them hit me up and go "omg i heard about [thing]! how come you didnt even tell me?!!"pretzeltime wrote:agreed. being humble (or at least giving the outward appearance of humilityRigo wrote: Being humble is sexier. Columbia's color itself isn't necessarily horrible. Fine for a tee, but do I want a hoodie in baby blue? Nope, not so much. Georgetown is killing it in the sweater department. The linked one is good, but this is even better.

It helps that I have exactly this from my UG and it is currently falling apart at the seams, so its high time for a replacement.

I got 300ish likes on the post so I think it worked lol. Granted, not as much as the hot sorority girl when she gets accepted into study abroad that requires a 3.0 and nothing more, but I'll take itnimbus cloud wrote:So what was the reaction? Wait, so posting on facebook about the school you got accepted into for your haters is douchey.
But what if I am just trying to post to let all my friends know? Who aren't haters but are normal, genuine people. This has been a long journey and all my friends have heard way too much about this/LSAT

Oh, I post for all the things on FB. They're "friends only" posts because nothing I post is public, but my family has a drinking game to do with each kid's (not that I am a child, but w/e) school acceptances/WLs/rejections. So, yeah. There are two other cousins applying to grad programs now so it's been a hell of a couple months.jjcorvino wrote:Don't feel too bad. This acquaintance of mine is like an LA instagram babe and is "really hot" and posted a pic of her in a typically hot minidress holding her acceptance letter to Southwestern Law School and said "guess who got into law school? what, like it's hard?"jjcorvino wrote:Don't feel too bad. Keeping H8ers as friends on social media is the more questionable thing here.

I view posting on social media as more of an announcement that you're moving to Ann Arbor, Charlottesville, etc. Not really bragging about law school so much.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
