I believe the last decision on the TLS thread last year was on April 16 (the 15th this year). I can't remember offhand if that was a WL, rejection, or admit.

Just got my rejection letter. Definitely the nicest rejection letter this cycle haha. I'm really glad I'm not in limbo with a wait-list at least and can get excited about another school. Good luck to all of you still waiting

Thanks Neon and Cards, definitely appreciate it! I'm still pretty flabbergasted by the schools I got into, so still really happy. I hope you get in though Cards! You and Neon can tell me about how awesome Stanford is

Stanford and I celebrating our 6 month today.. this is just down right silly. TBH, even if they were being super, duper holistic they should take a max of 15-20 min on an app with qualifying numbers. At the end of the day the info. we sent them speaks for itself.

I wonder why SLS isn't jumping on the bandwagon...
Did you do focused recommendations or a directed PS/DS?
SLS is known for stressing the importance of developing a community that really proves they want to be at SLS specifically.

How many people do you reckon are still waiting? If SLS gets +3000 apps/ cycle?

Is Stanford, in its infinite wisdom, taking a second long hard look at we the remnant? Or is there simply a huge backlog of auto-rejects that they're waiting to bundle in a mass-ding wave?

I prefer to think option #1 is the case, but I have nightmares that its #2 thats the reality.

Once again, no DLS today. Funny how I've heard nothing from 3 of the 7 schools I applied to this late in the game (C/H/S). I must be a quintessential "borderline" candidate.
