First, congratulations to everybody who has gotten accepted! But for those of who haven't received any phone calls or even had a date change on our status checkers should we just give up hope or is there the possibility of any other admit wave, or being waitlisted? Thanks!

I honestly think there will be more admit waves.

I'm pretty much basing this on Spivey saying that "NYU has a lot more admitting to do" a while ago (noting that there were far fewer admits compared to the same time last year). either that or they're going to be pulling from the WL a bunch.

Honestly, I think the best thing to do is just assume you're going to be waitlisted and focus on a contingency plan (if you don't already have one). It takes away a little anxiety

There have, but what I mean is that like, one week prior to the WL waves they did a massssssive ding wave. So we haven't seen that yet (if there is such a pattern)

I really want you to get in. You're the NYU stan. I've, personally, lost all hope tho. It's weirdly liberating.
