They have called and DLS'ed people on Saturdays before. I have a feeling they are just absolutely swamped right now. As much as it kills me to wait, I really do want them to make the right decisions.

In other news...last year's thread was like 120 and some odd pages. Dean Deal should gives us a prize for our dedication. Like acceptances for all...on a Sunday...

I'm sure status checker neuroticism bumped us up this year, but I really would like to reach 200 pages soon!

The status checker is down right now. That clearly means Dean Deal has finalized decisions and is sending them out, right? RIGHT?

Haha I saw that too and freaked out that they are updating too many records with "DLS" ...but I'm trying to stay more optimistic than that.

Seriously I can't believe how many people are still waiting though - and people with really, really good numbers! It makes me nervous.

Basically, although some people have called SLS and they claim that there are a very few number of outright acceptances still to go out.

Thanks! It may have been yesterday but at least as of 11am yesterday I was still alive so I'm guessing today. Hope you guys get accepted!

Still alive, as well. I sincerely hope that the folks who have informed about deadlines and were told "you're still in review" are legitimate contenders for the few seats apparently left. It'd sure suck to be kept waiting if they can't decide whether to WL or ding.
