Re: Harvard 2010!
Does anyone have an idea of the time frame in which to expect a ding? I've been UR since 1/4 with no JR1 & no chance in hell of getting into HLS (my GPA is way too low, but I applied to make my parents happy). I would like to get my cycle wrapped up & am wondering when I'll finally get the rejection email. Thanks!

this not to say you'll get dinged, but you can see the rough timeframe for decisions on LSN
http://harvard.lawschoolnumbers.com/app ... order=desc
it seems like the recent batches of dings have been complete late december / early jan.

I'm pretty sure I'll get dinged with a ~3.5 gpa & no URM status, but it doesn't really hurt because my cycle went as well as could realistically be expected with my stats.

I hope JR spends like 70% of the day either calling JR1 + JR2 or emailing ppl for JR1s ^^

Is there anyone left who had a JR1 in January who hasn't heard back at all? I'm beginning to think I missed an email or something.

Definitely check your spam. At least one person had a "hold" email in their spam.dcchillin wrote:Is there anyone left who had a JR1 in January who hasn't heard back at all? I'm beginning to think I missed an email or something.

I had nothing in my spambox from Harvard, but I did find several e-mails offering inside connections for Viagra on the cheap. Exactly what I needed to reassure me of my adequacy right now.

Sooo when JR called she had no idea what the call was about, in the middle of school day where she was teaching kids, and was bleeding from a banged up knee, and basically yelled at something at JR like, "I'm bleeding so you better make this good" because she thought it was telemarketer (unknown number to her).

If she did hilarious! But good life that she's completely into her life that she is not going frantic over calls...
Sigh so no news guys? Let's not be shy...
I'm starting to get paranoid about the "some" spots left business...

Re: Harvard 2010!
Yeah she got in lol... JR was supposedly pretty nice and understanding about it once she figured out what was going... there was another quote I think that was pretty funny, she said something like, "So you're offering me admission to Harvard? Ok i'll take it" and JR had to clear up it was just an interview.dream wrote:Nom Sawyer wrote:lol, a friend told me about a person who got their JR1 email in spam or else was too busy to see it...crackberry wrote:Definitely check your spam. sorry about the situation, but you got the email today (or was it buried in spam)? so jr's still dishing out dings and holds left and right, but no acceptances?dcchillin wrote:

just had a look at LSN out of curiosity, and I can't believe I am the only acceptance reported in the last 3 weeks. What is going on at HLS?? I really hope all of you get calls next week. I'm pulling for you!

There. Now it's more to my likingZara wrote:just had a look at LSN out of curiosity, and I can't believe I am the only acceptance reported in the last 3 weeks. What is going on at HLS?? I really hope all of you get calls [strike]next week[/strike] tomorrow. I'm pulling for you!
Edit: Not that I, or anybody else here, would turn down my nose at an acceptance next week, or the week after, or really whenever JR wants to call.
