yeah...acceptances at 7AM
the overwhelming majority of DLS has happened later in the day
and i am firmly in the there are no more acceptances coming camp

Honestly, given their TTT practices this cycle, I'm not entirely convinced they'll get all their decisions out by the end of the day.

the fact that they have been DLSing alot of people per day on TLS, must mean there are even more people IRL getting them. Maybe they received alot of applications this cycle?

Valid point. Aren't they also going to be busy following up with their current acceptances that haven't put deposits down yet since they are at their deadline? Seems like a stressful couple days for them.

Stanford has been trickling out decisions all cycle and, as far as I know, hasn't had one single mass "wave" of decisions of any kind. Given how many people on TLS alone haven't heard back, I'm really skeptical everyone is going to hear back today.

Applicants have been under stress since the LSAT too. so thats like 1+ year of stress

My backup plans were to apply for a deferral at H if dinged and commit to H for next year if WL'd. Not hearing by tomorrow forces my hand into committing for this year :/

we get nothing, I think...first it was April one, now it's April the last...these are arbitrary dates. If there are any so called straight acceptances, they might as well have been wait list acceptances given that they would come after several major deposit deadlines. procrastinating on the wait list and then admitting someone "straight" in May is still a wait list in my book.

As someone who just found this forum, I appreciate the informative nature of it. However, as someone who worked in undergraduate admissions, I can tell you it is harder than you think. Y'all should cut Dean Deal and the Committee at Stanford a break and be a bit more appreciative. Also, if y'all would check this board a little less frequently, I assure you it will drive down your stress levels. Everything happens for a reason and the process is out of your hands at this point. Best of luck to everyone.
