I'd take sticker at CLS over NYU $12.5k a year. Assuming you are dead set on biglaw, good call. $15k a year is pushing it, but would probably be the max difference I'd accept.

3-5 years in BigLaw is the goal. Basically, I made my choice between CCN based on NYC/DC biglaw placement. Columbia won't really be sticker anyways. Assuming 2L SA, I'll graduate with about $160k+interest if you add my parent's contributions.

Nope, but last year calls such as the one you received were followed shortly after (few days) by admit calls, so seems like GREAT news for you!

This is good news. They (in the past) made a round of calls to gauge interest before accepting people. Maybe they saw how many are declining in the first round and are shifting to interest calls again

Has anyone noticed a trend so far in NYU's picks off the waitlist? Are they going for LSAT, GPA, Gender, Regionality, etc?

Dean's scholarship, $25k/$25k/$12.5k. Oh boy, really tough decision as my Penn scholarship is higher and COL in Philly is cheaper, but NYU is NYU.

I have a lot of thinking to do later

I promise I'll decide as quickly as possible in case I decide to decline, so this money gets back to your guys asap.
