Looks like Columbia is up to sending a staggering single acceptance/rejection/waitlist email per day.

For some reason I was under the impression they still mailed those via standard mail but emailed holds/acceptances. I could be wrong though.

yeah i just saw that in the previous threads. they mailed out rejections late April.

Just found out I was accepted after previously being held! I was held late feb. 171, 3.75 k-jd. Came in an email

I called yesterday and the person who answered the phone said they hope to have most decisions sent out by the end of next week............ I'm just never getting any of my hopes up........

So is it pretty much impossible to use H or Y (both) to get a Hamilton? Did they say they don't negotiate up to a named scholly?

Does that also mean that it's impossible to get a Hamilton off the Reserve? >=75, >75, non-URM

Didn't you say that you wouldn't take hamilton even if you got it? I think it's time for you to narrow it down to H or Y and just pick

As a 75/75 who isn't held, but hasn't received any news, does that mean I should send a LOCI or something? They didn't ask for anything from me.

Yeah I think you shot yourself in the foot by sitting on your grades. Don't know if doing anything could make it better at this point.

I thought I'd be okay with a wait this long but I'm also becoming more and more frustrated with the fact that I am going to deposit money tomorrow and (for obvious reasons) want some sort of final word from CLS.

This is certainly a complex and an emotional process. Even if they did offer admission today, I'd need to know what they were offering in terms of finances anyway.

Time to eat my other deposit and simply be okay with being held for another week at CLS.

Ahh that sucks. I don't know what I'd do in that situation since that's tricky. Thankfully my back up, in case Columbia doesn't work out, has their deposit due in May so I haven't run into that problem yet. Although it seems like they should pretty much know by now.... A week wouldn't make that much of a difference so I don't know why they don't just send us all emails today haha.
