nah i just went to all the adcoms before christmas and slept with all the deans. it was awkward at first, but that was the sacrifice i was willing to make. i won't go into the details but let's just say JR has a fewwwww secrets he might want to keep.

+1 I mean when it changed to under review 1/7 I thought for sure I would have DLS before Feb. It just sucks it's people with 1/30 UR and they already have they DLS. If NYU wants to Ding or WL me fine just let me know something so I can plan what I'm doing next.

You have a higher GPA than I do and a higher LSAT, and I got in. We're both URM. I think you have hope.

I would of applied earlier but had a mishap with a LOR (They just didn't write it/cut off communication). I think I applied way to late in the cycle. Thanks for the encouragement though!!!

NYU was a late ap for me as well. I applied 1/1. It was received 1/4. It was complete 1/12. DLS 1/21. Hang in there.

If your profile is correct then you have a 171 and a 3.7 as a double major at Stanford. You're at median LSAT and just about median GPA but probably get a boost for it being from a prestigious university. So I sincerely believe that you'll be getting the purple acceptance envelope in the mail.

Batches of people with the same DLS date haven't been able to get in until like 3-5 days after the DLS update.

I didn't mean to be douchey, but your numbers are pretty good for NYU. You shouldn't being expecting a ding and I'm sorry if somehow it is a ding.

oh. my apologies. i didn't mean to be douchey either. last year, nyu sent a lot of wls for those #s. #s are by no means auto-admit, and the app was sent late. figured the quick turnaround was a bad sign. but thank you for the encouragement. i hope that you are right.

didn't people with quick turn arounds that had DLSs get emailed dings? so if you have a quick turn around and no email, it's a positive. or at least, I haven't seen anything different while following this thread. So be confident in seeing purple within the next week
