Got my scholarship info today - 19k total, which doesn't come close to some others I have, so I'll be withdrawing.

Man, I'd take just an acceptance at this point.
Congrats to the new admits! I really think CU is a smart choice, even if you have acceptances from T30 schools.

Also received scholarship info today as well. Where I had all but ruled them out expecting little to no money, they came through in a big way. CU is back in the final four I am considering.

11,000 first year, 4,000/year after that. I'm shocked. Soooo happy. Will be attending.

Has anyone received a scholarship letter on the east coast? Wondering if a letter might still be on the way or if I should let the thought pass.

+1, that's what keeps me drawn (plus the 50k over three years)savagecheater wrote:I think the $19k scholly is the main scholly offer they're handing out.adora wrote:11,000 first year, 4,000/year after that. I'm shocked. Soooo happy. Will be attending.
I got it too - pretty psyched.
I've gotten into better schools, but I have to imagine that QOL at CU is awesome and that it dominates whatever markets it feeds into.
While the second and third year amounts are smaller, I figure the cost is mitigated by (1) instate rates and (2) summer earnings. I can't seem to shake CU from my options like I was other schools.

Re: Colorado 2010
Since I am a splitter, I pretty much figured I had no shot in hell of getting any money at all. Seeing two splitters post small scholarships so far gives me the tiniest bit of optimism. I'm going to CU anyways, but if I get a letter with a scholarship this week, I am going to go absolutely nuts!!!
