Re: Michigan ED Applicants
Michigan is my favorite law school ( I guess that's why I went ED).
The dean is so coool!
Mrs. Z is the Best that a law school could hope for......
Michigan Law will outclass UVA for at least the next 100 years
It will never leave the "Top 10" in Truth or in Spirit.
Here's wishing us all the greatest success in tomorrow's decision. We are an intelligent bunch, we must admit, after all we chose Michigan above all others......

Also, a note to Dean Z: Pay no attention to the flattery in the Michigan 2010 thread. If those folks were sincere, they would post here with us diehards.

So true!

If they were actually sincere in their love for Michigan Law they would have applied Early Decision. That thread is all fluff with Zero substance..........

Uganik should market themselves to Dean Z as being the Michigan version of OperaSoprano.uganik wrote:John J. Rambo, Esq. wrote:Rambo's stats: 167, 3.7

Re: Michigan ED Applicants
Dear Fellow EDers,
I am posting this on my behalf and a colleague of mine's (who is too shy to join TLS, but lurks). We have amazingly similar numbers, and we're each alumni (well, an alumnus and alumna to be Latin-correct) of the University of Chicago hoping that the U of M decides to take a least one of us Maroons as every law program needs at least one geeky quantitative type (though I expect Michigan to take a few from MIT or CalTech per usual).
I've retired from the admitted students login. It is just one big epic fail every time the red text pops up.
Good luck to every one,
HL

Looking at the list I knew each of those people were ED, but now looking at them all together, I didn't realize there was such a nice little group of us!

Damn. Three 168/3.5s? Good luck. Hopefully, Aeon was right about admissions review being reasonably "holistic."

3.74/162/OOS non-URM. I have like a .0000000001% chance, but I love Michigan so much (I lived there for 13 years) I am willing to increase their number of applicants so they look even more competitive next year!

We can only hope so. All of us would be auto-rejects otherwise.

That prime UG must be good for something, though. I know some schools (though I don't think Mich is one of them) give a GPA boost to certain institutions in their index formulas.crombot wrote:Also waiting.........
