Accepted into Vanderbilt this weekend- received package yesterday.
App went complete 10/29, and I also interviewed.
The decision was mailed 12/15.
GPA<25%
LSAT~75%
Scholarship info that came with the letter mentioned that scholarship information would be determined in February.

I've been complete since 10/29 and I don't think it necessarily means a WL. Then again, I'm a URM candidate so my wait is most likely going to be longer than most, regardless of what the actual decision is.

Why would the wait be longer than most?

I apologize if this is interpreted for speaking for someone else, but there are rumors that URM candidates are separated out from the general population and evaluated against other URM candidates. My own feelings on the matter are that URM's who are borderline or below the median are held for a longer than other candidates so school's can see if they've met their...*ahem*, how to say this nicely..."diversity median".

But this is just speculation. For the record, I'm URM, below median, interviewed, and complete 11/10. However, I'm retaking in December, so I thought that might be a reason in my case.

For those of you already admitted, do you know when Vandy's ASDs are? Anyone else planning on attending? It'll probably be between Vandy and Cornell for me, so I'm excited to visit both schools to make my decision.

Regardless of when you go complete, if you have chosen to interview, VULS will pull your app from the to-be-reviewed pile until the alumnus completes his report. So if you've interviewed, expect a much longer review time even if you went complete a long time ago.
