No, I'm in Florida.

The one thing I should add is that I have a 3.84 since returning to school in 2006. I have one semester from 1997 at 2.0 that brings my GPA down. I realize that they have to report the 3.6, but the higher GPA may have played a role in the quick decision.

IN today via snail mail.

I never bothered w/ their status checker...it looked like a pain but I got the email 1/8...the same date on my acceptance letter. OOS.

I submitted just before Christmas and didn't do any extra essays.

I am apparently in...but I am not sure I trust it. I just received the email with the status checker this morning (applied 1/5) and when I set up my account, it said I was accepted. I remember reading somewhere that they were having issues with their status checker. I think I am going to have to call to make sure. But pretty happy, nonetheless! I am officially going to law school in the fall!

Edit - Just called, and it's official, I am in! Yay!

Same as above. I applied 1/4/10 and just got my status checker and acceptance. Although it was my safety, it feels great to get accepted. my numbers were 165/3.3

Went straight from incomplete to under review on the 12th. Accepted today. Pretty excited. Anyone have any idea when scholarship info comes out?

I'm not sure you should have considered UGA a safety with those numbers. Their medians are 164, 3.7 according to their site. Then again, based on lawschoolnumbers, it appears that everyone with 164+ gets in, so perhaps LSP is wrong to give you a 44%.

I just called, and they told me the middle of February. Probably because I just got in.

just checked my mail at school. i had a letter from january 8th saying i'm accepted. 161, 164, 3.69 gpa, oos. scholarship info comes out before feb 15th. i'm hoping to get at least a little money.

the letter says almost all students can earn in state for 2l and 3l. that's pretty enticing because in state is only 15k / year.

did you retake in dec? Has anyone who retook in december been accepted?

Getting in via the status checker is eerie. But if they're wrong, surely I could sue somebody. How does leveraging the money against Alabama in state sound? Think that would work? I love athens.
