Yes, but check in the status checker for the date they mail it. For example my acceptance packet was not mailed on the day the status checker changed.

I just withdrew. I had an offer for $12k, non-renewable. I hope the $ goes to someone who needs it. Best of luck to all who are still waiting for a decision.

Re: Temple 2010!
I was just wondering if I could get some feedback on my idea to send a LOCI in to Temple.
I applied 1/26 (I know, late), went complete on 2/3 and havn't had any change since then. It looks like it's coming down to the wire and its certainly getting close to time to start putting down deposits at a school or two. I've been accepted to Rutgers-Camden and waitlisted at Villanova, but I'd love nothing more than to just go to Temple even at full out-of-state price. It's my number one choice by far and I'd really like to communicate this in a LOCI to the admissions officers even though no decision has been made for me yet. My numbers are low, 158/3.35, so I figure if I'm on the fence for them once they review my file then maybe a LOCI would help nudge me?
Also I figure that people are starting to drop like flies at this point, either accepted other places or just plain tired of waiting and since I'm not even in review yet, I'd like them to know that I'm still very much interested even though we are all very late in the game now.
Thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks everyone! And good luck to those waiting like me
EDIT: Just noticed on the temple law website that they extended the app deadline to 4/01 ... wonder what that is all about

Re: Temple 2010!
I, personally, think it sounds fine, if you really really want Temple. But I have nothing to base my advice off of. Like, I know they tell you to be weary. But, it's not like your calling every day. Just letting them know, 'hey, accept me, and I'm there.'roecyris wrote:I was just wondering if I could get some feedback on my idea to send a LOCI in to Temple.

I'm going this Saturday also. Temple was off my radar, until I unexpectedly got in on Tuesday. Now my decision is a little harder.

Is Saturday just for admitted students? Or is it an open house?

Re: Temple 2010!
Decided, will write LOCI after visit in two weeks if I still haven't heard from them. Although, I feel like Temple would really only work for me if I got money. Which by now, it must be out.

Re: Temple 2010!
My complete date has changed 3 times from Jan to Feb and now March. My numbers aren't great but I'm trying for the PT program, plus I have pretty good work experience. Already accepted at both Rutgers campuses and leaning towards Camden. Has anyone tried calling the Temple admission office to get info? This is my last application of my cycle but it could really sway my decision for the fall.Compaq1984 wrote:Just went complete AGAIN at TEMPLE... Does this mean a decision is imminent?

Temple really wasn't in my top choices but I really loved Temple after the open house. Philly was awesome! Although that could have been because it was like 80 and beautiful!!!! Now if Temple would only give me a little more $$$$....

I thought the professors were all great. I really like Temple after the open house. It is making my decision much harder now. Got my acceptance packet in the mail even though I withdrew via email as soon as I got in. They offered me a full ride. Hopefully the scholly money will go to one of you folks!

Sent in an e-mail today taking a few sentences to tell them that I loved them, and another to ask them to expedite my decision. Less than an hour later I got an e-mail back saying they should have decision for me by early next week. Hope its a good one!

Re: Temple 2010!
When did you apply / go complete? I think I may try this. Temple is my number 1, but still no word. I've been at "Complete 02/19" for what seems like much longer than "about a month."snowpeach06 wrote:Sent in an e-mail today taking a few sentences to tell them that I loved them, and another to ask them to expedite my decision. Also, I was wondering, since I'm very borderline here. Do you guys think one could bargain for money if you either get in off the waitlist or have numbers closer to the 25%?

Re: Temple 2010!
Every day I wait and wait for them to make a decision on me... still NOTHING. Complete on 1/20 and no movement since.
Anyone else apply around then and still waiting to hear back?
first choice limbo
