Yes. But I can't load anything from the site, (their main page, financial aid, etc.) not just the status checker.Neelio wrote:anyone having a hard time accessing the USC status checker today?

I applied in october as well.imisscollege wrote:WHY AM I STILL ONLY AT COMPLETE I APPLIED IN OCTOBERRRRRR
I'm in same boat. I looked at LSN today to see if I could spot any kind of trend. It looks like there is a threshold of 166 that USC has accepted- no LSAT scores below that. If you're below that (even if it is a point or two), I don't think the adcomm has even cracked open your profile. I'm sure it's coming soon though. At least I keep telling myself that.finalaspects wrote:I applied in october as well.imisscollege wrote:WHY AM I STILL ONLY AT COMPLETE I APPLIED IN OCTOBERRRRRR
honestly its because we're not auto accepts and hence most likely will get rejected... sad but its most likely the truth.
Once again (haha), I applied in October, still "complete" 11/10. LSAT>75% GPA>25%.finalaspects wrote:I applied in october as well.imisscollege wrote:WHY AM I STILL ONLY AT COMPLETE I APPLIED IN OCTOBERRRRRR

I am definitely jinxing myself at this point, but I don't think the silence means a likely rejection. It just means you weren't an auto-admit.
Everyone keep the faith.
I don't think that's it. I'm well above 166 (but certainly shouldn't be YPd) and still at a long-ago complete.Neelio wrote:I'm in same boat. why do people only talk about the LSAT threshold! there's also a GPA threshold, so even if you get over a 166 it doesn't really help either. (of course there are exceptions to both)Neelio wrote: I'm in same boat. I looked at LSN today to see if I could spot any kind of trend. For USC, my impression was that the "cut-off" for the LSAT would be a 164-165, with a 165 needing an above-the-median GPA. The "cut-off" for GPA would be a 3.3-3.4, with a 3.4 needing an above-the-median LSAT. Obviously, there's room for exceptions, though this cycle is so competitive, I'm guessing that the room for exceptions is smaller than most years.finalaspects wrote: why do people only talk about the LSAT threshold! there's also a GPA threshold, so even if you get over a 166 it doesn't really help either. GPA threshold is at like 3.4-3.6 so yea im screwed by that alone even with a 168. I'll give you 2 LSAT points for .2 GPA! actually you should give me .3-.4 because LSAT is more valuable! (not in CA though apparently where all CA schools love GPA)

This makes me feel slightly better. I'm right at 166 & above 75th GPA and still "complete" as of 11/9. But every day it doesn't change, I lose hope :( ...Lermontov wrote:I don't think that's it. I think USC is known for accepting the best applicants first, WL everyone else, then slowly admit people when the betters withdraw. If you check last years thread, people were getting off the waitlist a few weeks before school started.Lermontov wrote:This makes me feel slightly better. Oh I like this impression! I'm 164 with a 4.0....just got the waitlist from UCLA but prayingggg USC will like my gpa. Any thoughts on Berkeley or Vandy?Hopefullawstudent wrote:For USC, my impression was that the "cut-off" for the LSAT would be a 164-165, with a 165 needing an above-the-median GPA. I have thoughts, but don't take them as overly prescient. Berkeley, you stand a shot depending on your "story". Vandy, you stand a shot as well, but they really like higher LSATs. Honestly, I'm surprised you were WLed at UCLA. Where did you go to UG? You don't have to be specific, but just give me a general idea..?aetennis17 wrote: Oh I like this impression! Great. Another round of auto-admits. Come on USC, those should take you like 10 seconds each! Get on to the "barely considers" already....lawblahblah wrote:My status checker finally updated. I have been sitting at complete since October. In Review 1/7.
