I worked in Admissions as an undergrad. In our office, your contract mandated 6-day weeks from October 15 through February 15th, and you couldn't take vacation. I can imagine, with only a couple of Deans making final decisions in the LS process, that they are doing even more than that.

Mine came through on a Sunday as well. They have a lot of work between now and January, I figure they are definitely putting in 50-60 hour weeks.

Big +1. Congrats from a fellow JD/LLM admit.
What are your stats if you don't mind? I'm applying for the JD/LLM also.

Do any of your emails or admissions materials say when the admitted students weekend is occurring?

Yep, me too. Wonder how long until we get a decision if we are just going under review today.

Not that is has any relevance, but I've been under review RD since 10/19.

Does anyone else have an "LS Tracking No" on their status checker? Maybe I am getting paranoid in my old age, but I swear this wasn't there before!

I do, I don't remember it being there. It is not on my uva status checker. but the whole process is making me nuts so I may not be the best person to ask.

Anyone else at decision made and waiting for the email? I am kind of surprised they are going so late with it today.

Update: The email just took awhile. Got in and am very excited.

I have it on Duke but none of my other status checkers. What does it mean? I demand an explanation!

I have it on my Duke checker. But I don't have one on UVa, where I was already accepted, so I don't really feel good about it. I guess it's just something some schools do.

In via the PT with a 171 and 3.87 (retook with a previous score of 166). Status checker went to decision made around 5:00 pm yesterday and email from Bill Hoye at 9:00.

Gotta say the PT seems like a brilliant strategy for Duke. For the next month or so Duke will be the only acceptance I have and the "clubhouse leader" if you will.

Does getting a fee waiver here mean a good shot at admission?

Having a 169+ / 3.8+ means a good chance at admission.

Yeah, but what will that actually net them? What is the endgame for them with PT? Do we think they get a higher yield of the people on PT than they would if they just gave fee waivers to them?

Interested in people's thoughts here.
