Booo it’s like they’re discriminating against normal sized womenNtp73821 wrote:I went a size up and it was still too small! I received a different full tuition award and was wondering about this same thing. I guess it would help if Slippin' Jimmy let us know if the stipend offer came in the same email as the full tuition scholarship emailrorobobo wrote:Full tuition Scholar in Law award! 176/3.62, curious whether I can negotiate for a stipend.

Got turned down for ED on 11/30 and got sent to reg decision. Anyone know how long it will take since they already reviewed me once?

Has anybody gotten scholarship info beyond the initial email? Everyone recommends including a scanned copy of the competing scholarship offer when negotiating additional scholarships at other schools, but all I have from WUSTL is the email they sent me about a month ago...

I'm sure you could either send that email as a pdf, or forward that email. Whether it is a scanned form of the same thing or electronic makes no difference - especially considering that my acceptance letter was just my acceptance email, printed.Hstrat wrote:Has anybody gotten scholarship info beyond the initial email? And that's fine but my adcomm totally teased me by saying they'd get back to me "in a week or two", so I've been on edge.wmbuff wrote:It'll come. I had to wait a month.mwells56 wrote:Interviewed 11/30 and still nothing. Ugh.

For me it went - radio silence for a month and a half; then acceptance, then scholly in the span of a couple days. They'll get to you, don't worry.mwells56 wrote:And that's fine but my adcomm totally teased me by saying they'd get back to me "in a week or two", so I've been on edge.wmbuff wrote:It'll come. Interviewed on 12/20/17 and Admitted 12/22/17. Interviewer was very sweet and was also upfront and told me I was a strong candidate during the interview.

Re: WUSTL c/o 2021 Applicants ('17-'18 Cycle)
Does anyone who got a dean's scholarship know if they will let you stay on wait lists in April and May if you take it? Or do you have to pull from all wait lists in order to take their $$?
Also, any idea how many 1Ls are getting a full ride? Seems like a lot, but I don't know if that's kind of a TLS bias or if that's real!

Not sure about the waitlist part, probably is a question for admissions.lawboundsomeday wrote:Does anyone who got a dean's scholarship know if they will let you stay on wait lists in April and May if you take it? Or do you have to pull from all wait lists in order to take their $$?

As for the amount of 1Ls getting full rides, I think I remember seeing somewhere that around 10-15 matriculate each year with the Dean's scholarship, but there are probably many recipients who opt for the T14. Plus there is major TLS bias for most results, as this site is very far from being an accurate representation of the applicant pool.

Interview Request 12/26 -- I thought they were all taking this week off!!
How bad is it if I put off scheduling an interview until next week when I'm back at work and can look at my schedule? I want to use this week to kind of finish all my applications before I prep for the interview.
