Waitlisted today, somewhat surprised considering my numbers but oh well. Probably removes BC for me.

I really thought today would be the day. I went complete 1/25 as well. I figured last Thursday would be the day, but then they closed because of the snowstorm. Maybe they forgot about us.em15 wrote:UR 1/25...why haven't we heard back?!BarMan wrote:We can only hope!circle.the.wagons wrote:anyone think today's the day for late january URs?

I think somebody called the admissions office and they said 'Late february to early march' so we still have some wait.

Well it could technically be considered late February now, as it is later than halfway through the month... (BC plz agree with my slanted logic)MAqee9898 wrote:Yea I called them up ands that's what they told me. We have some time. Re: Boston College c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Hey all,
In via e-mail today. Applied 1/2, complete 1/12, UR 2/7.
For reference, I am an international with a highest LSAT of 167, Superior evaluation, engineer and MBA and close to 6 years of work experience.
had a few questions -
1. the website says - "Scholarship notification generally occurs one to two weeks after admission". Is that true for anyone or will everyone receive schol info in feb end/March as a previous poster confirmed with the admissions?
2. Owing to the distance it needs to cover, my admission package will take some time coming. can someone please tell me the upcoming ASW dates and whether they have a travel stipend policy?
3. The fin aid information in the e-mail says - " Boston College Law School is fortunate to have our own low-interest loan fund and we will consider all
admitted students for an award from this fund." Does it mean they give out institutional loans to students? Couldn't find anything on this on the website.
4. Anyone knows if BC negotiates, historically? would GWU, Vandy be considered peers in this regard?
Thanks! all the best to those waiting and congrats to those admitted!

I submitted 1/19, went complete 1/23, and no movement since. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm hoping it's because they're working really hard on figuring out scholarship info for those already accepted

For those who are interested - about a week ago I posted about the required documents not being updated with any of my FAFSA information on the Agora Portal and now there's been an update.
I just checked the Agora Portal right now - my FAFSA is now listed as received. This could imply movement on the part of putting together a full financial aid package, hopefully [duh] including scholarship information. Here's hoping there's actual movement soon!

In the exact same boat as you, I'm honestly starting to get a little nervous. I should be good with my numbers but I feel like it's taking a while for them to put us URdwbh wrote:I submitted 1/19, went complete 1/23, and no movement since. Has this happened to anyone else? I don't know if this helps or not, but I applied 1/5, went complete 1/6, went UR 1/25, and I'm still waiting for their decisionJGPGH wrote:In the exact same boat as you, I'm honestly starting to get a little nervous. Yeah I've been complete since 1/19 and haven't heard anything. They're probably just busy with scholarships and admittances now. I wouldn't get worried until march maybe.JGPGH wrote:Yeah I've been complete since 1/19 and haven't heard anything. Go ahead and call but they probably won't have much new info for you.

Not yet. It looks like in January, people were getting decisions after being UR for 2 weeks. Being I'm still waiting after more than 3 weeks (and so are others), I think they just have a larger volume of applications right now which is slowing them downJGPGH wrote:Yeah I've been complete since 1/19 and haven't heard anything. Applied/Accepted early November. Just received scholarship offer and am somewhat disappointed since I got much more from higher ranked schools :/
