Data point: regular decision, submitted last week, went under review this morning.

(Half expecting a snap-ding due to splitter status)

Who knows, you may be the first RD applicant admitted, paving way for the rest of us lol. Hoping for this since I am also a semi-splitter. Good luck!

Submitted through PT today! I feel lucky to have even received a waiver and PT from them but I'm excited to hear from them! :D

No, PT. But it's hard to imagine that PT gave my app an advantage over RD, just a faster answer.

I know there is stuff in the first post of the thread about the status checker, but got an email today that my app is complete and ready for review (Priority Track), which is what my status checker says as well. Should I take that to mean my 10 days have started or not yet? If the 10 days haven't started, how long should I expect to wait until that does happen?

I was PT, sorry for any confusion. I just wanted all my fellow splitters to know there was hope at Duke. Applied 10/2, complete 10/4, decision 10/13. Again, I don't think being PT upped my chances of acceptance, but I could be wrong.

It's started. The 10 days starts when your app goes complete.

I'm PT as well, so that's why I'm interested. Hoping to hear back tomorrow or Thursday.

Got it. Seems like people are hearing back anywhere from the 7th to the 11th day, although 9 and up appears to be more typical.

For the Duke PT app, do the 10 days include the day you went complete? If so, I'm supposed to hear back today.

+1

Also, (and sorry if this was answered already but can't find it ITT) do weekends count or only business days?

It does not include the day u went complete. It's calendar days

I'm pretty sure it is plus ten from the day you went complete. For instance If you go complete 10/1 under PT they're supposed to email you by 10/11 with a decision.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
