Feel like it's kind of a shitty deal that I'm still waiting to get back the first time. Submitted in January, had a date change 3/29 and again on 4/11. Obviously glad for w/l people to hear back but I would really love to know from Fordham before I need to put other deposits down. Maybe they are waiting to hear back from people who turned down admission and $$$ to offer some of the those of us still waiting?

Yep, excited to see where this goes.
I got the email as well. My date changed in the status checker under the part that says my application is complete. I love the transparency. :D
Mine changed this morning as well. And thus starts refreshing my app status every 5 minutes again..
When were you both waitlisted? Also, if you don't mind, what are your stats?
I am trying to figure out their methodology, if they are going back through by date, scores, etc.

I'm waitlisted too, but my complete date is still my waitlist date :|
Oh no! Hopefully that date updates soon. Did you get the email checking to see if you were interested in staying on the list?

Waitlisted since mid-February and very enthused about Fordham Law. It fits well with my career goals so here's to hoping!

Thank you all so much for the info! It seems that you were all waitlisted in February! I wasn't waitlisted until April, so that could be why! I hope we all hear back soon!

Also, has anyone received any information about the waitlist? I asked if it was ranked and they said no, they look at it holistically and make offers based on how their current class is shaping up.
Has anyone asked how many people are on the waitlist or on average how many people are offered seats from the waitlist? Or if there is any scholarship potential from the waitlist?

I have a million questions, but didn't want to bombard them. Any help is GREATLY appreciated! :D

That is really the worst. It is going to be really hard to view any deposits I make as sunk cost if I don't hear back before they are due. How are you dealing with it?

Already accepted at BC with enough money to make my out-of-pocket $0. So at least I have options. I live in Columbus, so I have the ability to change plans at the last minute, its not a good look for my alma mater though.

The email wording said that they were hoping to make decisions in the upcoming week, so I'm holding off of my status checker clicking marathon until next week to try to stay sane. :D The draw of the status checker is strong.

Still not sure where I'm headed tbh. Right now it's between Emory, which is my favorite school of the ones I've gotten into and gave me a little more than Fordham; or Cardozo (full scholarship) if I decide I want to stay in New York. I'm committed to doing public interest work, and the extra $60,000 I would have to pay for Fordham just wouldn't make sense over Cardozo, as the public interest outcomes for the two schools aren't very different. Stats are 166 LSAT, 3.69 GPA.

Nice, congrats on the options. I have a full ride to cardozo as well but I'm more interested in bigger firm work. My stats are 162/3.73 so i don't think that Fordham would give me great money :/

I'm probably going to end up at St. John's. Probably the same as Cardozo in terms of people not liking it but oh well lol no loans is no loans

good point, having no loans is HUGE
I just hate the fact that people always find something negative to say

I think it depends on your interests. Probably doesn't make sense for Biglaw. From what everyone has been telling me on this forum, public interest employers (particularly public defenders offices) care less about the school and more about a demonstrated interest in the work and actual work experience. I'm still having the same dilemma (Cardozo v. Emory), but I think Fordham, in particular, would not be worth it for me.
