It would probably have no effect whatsoever on your application. If you are a reverse splitter you will probably have good odds at getting in, depending on what your LSAT is.Patsfanforlife wrote:Would not applying for the merit scholarship negatively impact my chances of getting admitted if I am below their LSAT median?

wl by email.
hoping it was a lack of interest on my part (no why x, and I was pretty much indifferent during the interview...) and not splitter-hate.

Got the wl email as well, same deal: splitter, no why x, and meh interview (my first one of the cycle). Not terribly sad since I got into higher-pref'd schools, but I'm bummed I won't get a free trip to Nashville!ltbenn wrote:wl by email.

Well, sorry about the wait list, but at least you have gotten into a bunch of great schools otherwise. I am sure my wait list is coming soon, but it isn't here yet, so I get to anxiously stress about the impending wait list notification.jumbo2016 wrote:Yep I didn't check before I got the WL email so not sure if it updated before or after or simultaneouslybdb90 wrote:Has your online status updated to decision sent?jumbo2016 wrote:I'm exactly the same. I got the waitlist email as well today with my status updated to decision mailed. I'm not surprised either, even though Vanderbilt is my top choice, as my GPA is above the 75th percentile but my LSAT is at the 25th percentile, and I did the interview and thought it went relatively well.

Just withdrew from the WL; no sense in waiting till April to hear when I've already gotten into my top 3 choices. Good luck everyone else!

Maybe they don't need to bump up LSAT medians, or it could be YP since some of the t14s have been showing some splitter love this cycle ¯\_(ツ)_/¯jumbo2016 wrote:I'm exactly the same. Did you receive the email just now? I am trying to gauge if they are still sending out the wait list offers or if they emailed them out all at once.B102 wrote:Also WL splitter. LSAT > 75 GPA just below median. First decision of the cycle

Where did you see that they extended the deadline to today? Just curious because I was going to submit my scholarship app if this is the case!AMajorChord wrote:They extended it to 1/15 anyway so wooooWatchClosely wrote:Just submitted my scholarship application, two days after the "soft deadline."
