Gotta give it to CLS for consistency. Last year, hidden fee waivers appeared 8 calendar days after Sept/Oct exam score release. 22nd + 8 = Samesies for this year.

Honestly the money was worth the peace of mind and perhaps better shot at acceptance and scholarships to me. Even if it's all make believe, it makes me feel good knowing I applied so soon.

I figured in the face of all of the preftigious debt I'll have, $80 isn't that bad for a little insurance.

MyLSN chances put me at a higher chance of admit when I changed it to October or later than all.
MyLSN is weird like that though. If I put all then it says I have a 0% chance at Yale, and if I put before December I have a 9% chance. Wouldn't the 1 person who was accepted before December have counted towards the all stat?
Yea I don't get MyLSN sometimes. I remember it said I have like 30% at Chicago but if I only looked at those who applied September or sooner it was like 80%.

http://web.law.columbia.edu/admissions/ ... -questions may have some answers for you!

I do have some questions! When did you submit? Are you ED or RD? Also would you mind sharing your numbers or just the general range you fall in for CLS (percentile wise for GPA and LSAT)?

I got a Columbia interview as well.
Submitted right before October scores came out. I'm a splitter.

RD (oddly early going off of last year), submitted late September. LSAT at median and GPA ~25%. I don't think it's terribly predictive, going off of last year's thread, but it can't be a bad thing.

Weird! Last year, the first RD interview was reported on 12/29.

ED interviews started late November and RD applicants began receiving signs of movement in early Dec (requests for fall grades, application questions, etc).

Interesting. Makes me wonder if they're going to be trying to interview more applicants this year. I'd love to have an interview at the very least to feel like I have some control over my application again!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
