Me too. I am not sure if I should stay on the waitlist? If I were to get the PI scholarship, but have succeeded in negotiating my current offer up to a comparable level, would I have to accept the PI scholly? Or could I just keep the current offer and not be bound to PI? Not sure what to do...Liz_Lemon wrote:Same here, was admitted early January, no news until a letter this week.betty_bojangles wrote:got my aid offer in the mail today! PS i applied in November and was admitted in January.
I had applied for the Public Service scholarship, and they said they would keep me on the waitlist for that if I was interested, but offered me additional merit money. Anyone else in a similar position?

I think once an offer is on the table, it's up to you whether you accept any other offer that would change it. So, for example, if you negotiated a merit offer to 30k, and then they offered you a PI scholarship worth 25k, I think you could turn it down if you didn't have the option to use both.betty_bojangles wrote:Me too. Does BU historically increase scholarships after the first seat deposit deadline? I'm considering BU over Berkeley because I have to finance everything via loans. Not sure if I can handle >$250k debt, even if UCB is my top choice.

Sorry to interrupt the flow here, but sidebar: has anyone noticed how the BC kids are getting lowballed this year?! Not feeling so bad that I got waitlisted there now, even though it was my first choice. I am really happy with my offer from BU, 35k/year. Anyone admitted to both and notice the huge difference in offers???

Strangely enough, I've had no complete date for at least a month... Not sure what to make of the disappearance of the status date.tkim88 wrote:My complete date disappeared. Guess I'll be getting a decision soon??

Re: Boston University c/o 2018 (2014-2015)
Honestly, I have no idea. I have seen other people in this thread posting about status dates on their BU status checker, but I don't remember ever having seen a date on mine since I went complete. Indeed it is very strange.MEAhrnsbrak wrote:Same. Does BU update their status checker?Harry_Pluxen wrote:Strangely enough, I've had no complete date for at least a month... Re: Boston University c/o 2018 (2014-2015)
Hey again. I just spoke with BU admissions regarding the disappearance of the "Current Status Date." They said that this is normal and nothing to worry about as long as the line above (Current Status) reads "Application Complete." Nothing for us to worry about.MEAhrnsbrak wrote:Same. Would love to hear any successes or experience too. I was under the impression they will reexamine after need based aid is doled out.supersplittysplitter wrote:anyone approach BU with other offers yet? any luck with negotiations?
