Are date changes indicative of a decision?

Very curious about this as well. I got my first date change today. It doesn't seem like there's a settled answer on how many date changes come before decision time.

I had 3 date changes (not counting the first complete) with "Application Complete" or w/e the complete status is.

And that was followed by another date change about a week later with "Interview Requested."

So unfortunately the date changes don't always mean a decision is forthcoming.

My interview request email said that they'd give a decision within two weeks of my interview, but I wonder if that includes the upcoming holiday break.

naschkatze wrote:Hi guys! First post on TLS 8) finally getting this site down.

Question. I am a 3.5/160 from a private school in the Midwest. I am applying to Cornell especially for their german dual degree program (which requires you to be fluent in German). I feel I may have a more competitive edge in the admissions process because of the limited number of people both interested in law school and fluent in German. What do you guys think? I know my chances are low with my scores, but Cornell is my dream school! And who doesn't want to study in Germany for a year?

* I also have very strong LORs and completed all supplementary materials*

Vielen Dank im Voraus!
If you can, retake the LSAT in February or, if you can't, apply this year and if you don't get in, reapply in the following cycle. Your background in German makes you a great candidate for the JD/LLM, but remember, you are applying to Law School first. Your foreign language experience is only relevant once you've been admitted.

At 75th LSAT and 25th GPA. Non-URM with WE. Had app in early Nov with two date changes (Nov and today). No email yet but status checker changed to "Congratulations, you're admitted!" Somewhat shocked to hear back already!
