Is there always a status update the day calls go out?

I got a call and a status update without noticing. So, I think so, but I can't tell you for sure if my update came before or after the call. They emailed me about a week before calling asking what I had been doing since I left my last job (happen to have started a new one).JustHawkin wrote:Is there always a status update the day calls go out?

Re: Boston University c/o 2017 (2013-14 admissions cycle)
Thought I'd contribute my timeline for those interested
LSAT between 50th and 75th
GPA between 25th and 50th
Sent in late January. Complete 3 days later. No movement until I got an email asking for further information in the last week of February. Complete on 3/7, acceptance call on 3/10.
How long has it taken the acceptance packages to reach people?

Anyone accepted and still waiting on scholarship info? I was accepted 2 weeks ago, received a packet, but haven't gotten anything about $...

Did anybody else get the email to "Dear (Contact First Name)" that was basically a list of why BU is, like, totally cooler than Harvard because they did a bunch of stuff before Harvard thought it was cool?

An email about their history or something. That Dear Contact First Name thing is funny.philipthegreat wrote:Did anybody else get the email to "Dear (Contact First Name)" that was basically a list of why BU is, like, totally cooler than Harvard because they did a bunch of stuff before Harvard thought it was cool?

FWIW: submitted mid-october, accepted late january via phone, received admit package with scholarship information ($35,000 a year) a couple weeks later. 168/3.8. Looking forward to ASW, and hoping to get more in need-based aid. Happy to see the climb in rankings

Anyone know the lowest stats admitted thus far? I'm below 25th for both. Just curious! Mom a BU alum, but still radio silent since going complete mid-feb.

I was accepted back in Feb with 170/3.7 but haven't received any merit scholarship package. I sorta figured I would by now. Anyone else in a similar position? I filled out the fafsa etc.
