Working on the law scholars merit awards application atm. For those of you that have completed it or are currently working on it, how long did you make each answer?

Current law scholar here. My answers were between 150-250 words, most being on the shorter end.Jules239 wrote:Working on the law scholars merit awards application atm. For those of you that have completed it or are currently working on it, how long did you make each answer?

Double spaced is the standard for this also, correct?

I've seen people all across the board as far as numbers, including high LSAT/median GPA with killer softs, high LSAT/low GPA URM, etc. only 3 or 4 people get it each year.
And I think I double spaced.

Does anyone know if those reviewing the law scholors applications are the same adcons who read our original materials? I'm wondering if using passages from my personal statement is a poor idea.

Definitely wouldn't do that. The point of the extra application is that they want more information.ZipWhenSheMoves wrote:Does anyone know if those reviewing the law scholors applications are the same adcons who read our original materials? Ha, fair point. I mean, I wasn't going to take it all from there by any means, but it's probably a silly time to be lazyarklaw13 wrote:Definitely wouldn't do that. I'm "Decision mailed" as of today. I did not receive an email from Fedex. I'm an extreme splitter, so I'm not very confident. Has anyone received rejections or waitlists yet? Does the Fedex email usually show up immediately?

It varies but they say it can take up to 24 hours. have you logged on to Delivery Manager to check? Also, you can call and ask FedEx which might be able to get you an answer before the info is emailed/onlineSavage13 wrote:I'm "Decision mailed" as of today. I did not receive an email from Fedex. Haha, good guess, but no. I got a year of Fs when I was 17 and then came back to school at 25 and kicked ass.
