Yeah man, 165 is a good score, around 90th percentile. Be proud of that already. But barring some weird personal situation, your best move regardless of admission is to study for a retake (just like with admission, you have nothing to lose!). Essentially, it is like a super high paying, tax free, part time job. Would you take a part time job that pays hundreds per hour? I wouldvicpin5190 wrote:Thanks! I obviously felt that a higher score would have been the ideal, but I do feel that 165 doesn't look like a kiss of death at all based on some rummaging through LSN and MyLSN. Looks like scholi stuff is more of a crap shoot though. I'll probably heed the retake advice for negotiation purposes....Fiero85 wrote:[
Yes don't lose hope vicpin5190, it's totally possible you're an admit this cycle. If you do though, I recommend retaking in Feb or June to negotiate a scholarship. It could make such a huge difference.
We'll see. Nothing to lose. I came off as a WUSTL fan boy in the Why WUSTL question, so maybe that'll help lol.

If you are serious about this and get admitted: use your love of WUSTL, alumni status, and a retake score to dominate a scholly negotiation. Just my two cents!
Best of luck!
