I am officially going to wake in the fall! I rented an apt at crowne park. It's beautiful and really close to the school. However, if you want to live in any of he crowne properties it is better not to wait until the house hunt. She said the waiting list is usually full by may. I'm still in nc and only have my phone so I'll post pics when I get back home. I hope to see you guys in march at scholars day!

I am also debating not going to ASD a well since I just visited. I don't think it will be that bad for those that don't go. Not everyone will be going at once and many may not even end up attending wake. I don't think it affects anything.

I feel like there's no good way to tell. I can't quite remember but I think Dean Shively said that decisions tomorrow will hopefully get through everyone who went UR by Dec 1. Most people here have been UR since November and December, so I'd say it's unlikely. You can always email and ask. He very politely and promptly told me the date I could expect a decision.

I would imagine it will take several more weeks to hear anything if this is true. I was a December LSAT taker and therefore had no choice but to be complete somewhat late in the game. I hope it does not negatively affect me too much.

I'd say it's unlikely that you'll hear back tomorrow, but not impossible. I believe Dean Shively mentioned something about getting the 'obvious' decisions out of the office sooner, so if you've got a 3.8/17X then you could hear something tomorrow. Alternatively, you could end up waiting a few weeks to hear back.

As someone else mentioned, you could always try emailing the Dean and asking yourself. He's been pretty friendly and open about the admissions process so far.

Just curious, what were your numbers? Could that have prompted the quick decision?

My numbers weren't terrific (IMHO) but I did have very strong softs, LORs, and undergrad.. Was very impressed with the quick turnaround. Dean mentioned in a post last week that around 400 decisions will be made this week. Best of luck!
