I literally have not been able to do anything productive today.... between maniacally waiting for the GW ED decision and the Michigan email debacle over on that thread, I have become totally consumed.... hope we all hear soon!!!

I fairness to GW, they committed to January 15th to mail decisions, so they are still well within their window. I guess we should be happy as we are still in the running...

I know I don't have a serious shot at even admission, but I'd like to have SOME news!!! All of my apps went out 12/5-12/6 and I've heard nothing yet!

you might be waiting awhile haha i sent in all of my apps the first week of november and i've only heard back from one so far and that one is not GW. ugh

No reason at all..if I get into w&m im not def going to go there..it will just be an acceptance that competes with my w&l acceptance..my others, richmond, american, gm, and 2 safeties, don't compete so far..buttt I'm loving w&l..but it would be cheaper to attend w&m (instate). W&l gave me 15k a year but even with that its a lot of $$$

Fortunately W&L sent me an email saying my decision will be released Thursday (1/12), and I applied ED for GW so one way or another they're going to have to at least pretend I exist

I got into W&M, and its definitely looking like a winner to me now that GW has waitlisted me.

I like the environment of W&M better, williamsburg seems like a much nicer area, and the job prospects seem about the same.

Anyone else feel like this is a sympathy waitlist? None of us got rejected.

I'd rather take a ding than a waitlist from a school I ED'd to. Not good enough for a deferral now after i signed my freedom away to you shows I won't be good enough later haha.

But I will say that I have first hand knowledge of an individual who transferred from GW to W&M because they did not like the environment of GW

They're close enough. I don't see any glaring differences between the two, unless I'm missing something. W&M looks slightly better overall. However, scholarship money could definitely sway me between the two (hypothetically, seeing that I didn't apply to W&L).

Anybody got accepted ED? They said they will send out decision by Jan 15, but it's a Sunday, so should be before Jan 13.

Haven't seen any post here about accepted ED...

I'd say it sounds like right now if you applied ED no news is good news. Congrats!
