I'm a non-URM OOS student with a 169/3.94. Should hear back from them within a week, so I'll let everyone know how that goes and then everyone can either breathe a small sigh of relief or sound the panic bells lol.

Just got the acceptance call from Dean Ingram. I'm super excited, UT is my first choice so I will most likely be attending. She said I should get a scholarship offer in the mail in a few weeks. Numbers aren't too special so it should give people some hope.

168, 4.0, Out-of-state

Ha! Those are great numbers. I doubt you're giving anyone hope. And congrats!

I thought I was a good bet too, but on the last page they were talking about someone with a point less LSAT and maybe a .1 less GPA getting flat out rejected. Given there are 100 reasons for rejecting someone, but that definitely gave me pause.

Congrats Marlin! That is encouraging.

The fact that 168/4.0 gets a scholarship and 168/3.87 got outright rejected suggests to me that there's something anomalous about the latter (and hopefully not Marlin!).

UT please just send my reject email already. Every day you don't is a day you keep my false hope alive and I just can't take it anymore. I flinch every time I check my e-mail, expecting it to be there.
