For those who have been accepted, if you miss the call, has Berkeley been sending followup emails? I got a missed call from an unknown number when calls started going out...

Not sure, but it's a 510 area code. If that's what you got, call 'em back. Can't imagine if the number was blocked that it'd be them, tho

Yeah I don't think it would be an unknown number if it was Berkeley. The number showed up on my phone.

Has anyone missed a call from them without getting a voicemail?

I missed a call last Tuesday (the day after they started calling) from 510-643-6753. Googled it, and it turned out to be from the admissions office. I figured they would call back, or the status checker would update, or a letter would arrive... but there's been nothing. I've just been lurking in this thread since then, worrying that they dialed a wrong number.

It just seems so odd that they wouldn't leave a voicemail.

That is odd. They said they won't be updating the status checker so it won't show up there. I would try to call the office tomorrow and ask, I think that's a valid question.

If that's the case, I would just go and call them back. It'll be good to know why they called instead of letting your imagination run wild with the possibilities. Hope it's good news!

You should call them back. I missed their call at first too but they don't leave a message or send anything. I called back and just said my name and told them I missed a call from this number.. I'm pretty sure it means you're in!

I was UR 11/22 as well. I am hoping for a decision before Christmas, but that might be overly optimistic. Good luck to all!

Holy crap, friend, you crazy? Call NOW!! I cannot believe you've held out an entire week with a missed call from a 510 number. I am positive it is good news. I got a call last week from Dean Tom and then another one from a woman this week (both missed calls, no voicemail left, which I returned and was like "Hello, this is so and so, I just received a call from this number"...not awkward at all) just because the woman wasn't sure that I had been contacted yet. It seems like they're not running on the most scientific of methods, so I don't think there is any significant reason why they haven't tried calling you another time. Seriously...call. Oh, and congratulations.
