I clicked submit the day the app opened! haha I was one of those who kept anxiously waiting as they postponed the opening date. not sure about the order in which acceptances come out, but i guess that at least answers your first q!

Interesting that acceptances are already coming out. I thought that Yale liked to wait a while for acceptances because they tend to want to "nerf" the advantages of rolling admissions?

Also got the 203 call yesterday (didn't let it go to voicemail). The admission officer calling was really nice and said that YLS will send email on Monday to confirm admission and that someone will contact me soon to do a survey. Still shocked after a day!

So the two people accepted so far both have 180s? Not very surprising there. A little surprised to see none of the regular posters in here getting the call (at least that's been reported yet) and nothings really shown up on LSN either, guess they meant it when they said they would be giving "a few applicants" a good start to their weekend.

But, congrats guys, that's a huge achievement!!!

I also got the call on Friday, which really surprised me. I saw the area code and assumed they must have had a clarifying question or something. I was also worried because I didn't realize we had to submit high school information.

When the admissions officer asked if I had any questions, I told him I was too excited to think of any. He replied, "It's okay, you're longer being tested." So excited for New Haven!

(FYI, I submitted my application on October 26th)

Haha yeah, I let mine go to voicemail sheerly because I was so dumbfounded to see the 203... I hadn't read YLS's twitter update that day and was not at all expecting an admit call! It took me longer than six rings to simply process or even begin to anticipate what was going on I got even more worried when Craig didn't leave an acceptance notice in my voicemail, as KB had for HLS.... but once my nerves were calmed, I really liked the fact that he makes sure to share the news directly

Craig was super, super nice, and I think he also mentioned a facebook group for admitted students, coming soon! I'm so pumped for that. I'm loving Yale more every minute of every day.

Monday tomorrow—I'm sure more acceptances will be rolling out! Exciting! GOOD LUCK again to all!!!
