Just wanted to say that I think you made the right choice - I remember "chatting" with you in another thread if an ED to UVA is worth it. If you get a 170+ on the October LSAT you can kick yourself a bit, but I think UVA is a pretty good deal for the money. See you in C'Ville next year!

Man sometimes I feel I should've ED'd to UVA. RD app submitted a week ago but it was so easy to write my "why UVA" that I'm thinking I made the wrong decision... hope to see all of you next year

Unless you've already ED'd elsewhere, you can still ED to UVA. There's a contract that you have to mail in to update to ED if you already submitted RD, but people have switched before and been accepted. Good luck with your cycle either way!

What are your numbers? As long as you fit into both of UVA's medians you should have a fairly good chance at an acceptance.

Yeah I really don't... 167/4.0, so ED is a certain possibility, otherwise it's a crap shoot

Since you've all already applied, I thought I'd ask this here - did you include your LSAC account number on your resume? If so, did you do this as a header or as part of your personal information (the bit including your address, phone number, etc.)?

I included my LSAC number as a part of the personal info on the Resume, but as a header on every other document.

Well, I hope the October LSAT went well for you all. You may still end up at UVA, but hopefully you'll have a little scholarship money.

I noticed a few others have received the "have a nice fall, student contact" email from UVa. I got this on the 21st, sent an email to one of the students (a 2L who went to the same undergrad as me), and he replied back ten minutes later. I'm wondering if this is just some standard thing they do for any applicants they can match up with students from their home state. Have any of you heard any positive feedback from what this might imply, or is my mind wandering to wishful thinking?
FWIW, UVa is a super reach from me (161, 4.11, URM).

I had a really nice back and forth email exchange from a dude from my same Ugrad ~two weeks ago. No news since then; UVA is a target with my #s, so I'm hopping it might help a bit.

Mine was very friendly as well. I'm thinking it has to be a positive sign then. Wouldn't make sense to waste the students time answering peoples questions if they weren't seriously considering admitting them. But thats just my opinion

Any regular decisions given out yet? If not, any ideas on when roughly?

A handful of giant scholarships, it seems.

Seems like around 4 of us on TLS with 90K Deans Scholly. I think someone was offered 75.

Submitted a few hours ago. They requested my stuff immediately and I just went complete a few hours later. I applied to 11 schools tonight and all of them are already complete, is this normal?

Why would you apply ED? That's an objectively poor decision.

Write a Why Virginia and you're an auto-admit with those scores. I bet you could get some scholarship money as well (which isn't the case if you ED).

Those numbers would probably get you NYU with an off-chance at CC.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
