I doubt you "need" a certain one, aside from needing one to submit to have a check in the checkbox. The supp essay prob makes or breaks like, 2 apps, each cycle.

It doesn't make or break, it lands you on the WL if you are strong enough to get admitted but have no strong/apparent ties to Penn.

Sigh, i'm starting to give up hope for a decision today.

Mine updated 11/29->12/15. They are going to be calling someone before the weekend! I am usually the last of any batch, so take it as a good sign people. (growing up with a Z is painful...)
